An exhibition entitled "George Peck, Paintings" appeared in 1999 at the Trans Hudson Gallery, New York NY. It was the second exhibition of this body of work, a continuation of the exploration which began in Budapest at the Fine Arts Academy in 1997. The appearance of the architectural space is confronted and transformed through networks of fissures, seeming cracks in the walls. The negative becomes positive.
